Ferrante & Associates Becomes Expert on Green Marketing
Audrey Ferrante, President of Ferrante & Associates, initially asked DH Communications to develop four new optimized pages for her Website in order to educate visitors about green marketing concepts. Prospects and customers had been asking questions and Ferrante wanted to position herself as an expert on the topic. After a few months of monitoring Ferrante’s Google Analytics, DH Communications noticed an unexpected outcome: lots of people were using "green" search terms and finding the Ferrante & Associates Website. Based on this data, DH recommended that Ferrante develop a lead generation campaign that included a green marketing report, landing page, email, and press release. The report, “Green Marketing 101: A Step-by-Step Guide for Businesses,” includes information marketers and business owners need to know about using eco-friendly papers and inks, what the various “green” certifications mean, and how to save money and protect the environment by making small changes to mailing campaigns.
The “green” campaign also gave Ferrante focus. Because her company is a “one-stop shop” for everything from printing and fulfillment to Web-to-Print services and database-driven Websites, it was difficult to know which service to market and to whom. Now, Ferrante is positioning herself as the green marketing expert – a topic relevant to all businesses today.
