MarCom Services Business and Marketing Case Studies
If you need a case study (or studies) written, I can help you.
Because case studies are written from your customer's perspective, it makes sense to hire an outside marketing writer who can interview your customer to get the full story. Often times your customer will be more open with a "neutral" third-party than with someone from within your company.
Whether you want the case study to appear in your e-newsletter or want a stand-alone sales collateral piece, I know the questions to ask that make a "ho-hum" story a great story.
I've written case studies for MarketingSherpa, Cabot Corporation, Constant Contact, AchieveGlobal, The Lead Dogs, and W.A. Wilde, to name a few. For samples, please see my Portfolio page or send email to info@dhcommunications.com. Of course, you can also call me at 603-382-8093.
What is a case study?
Case studies are really just expanded testimonials. Generally, a case study has three parts:
- The problem your customer was facing
- Your solution for fixing this problem
- Quantifiable results
This last part is important because your prospective customers want to see real numbers - ie: you decreased manufacturing downtime by 10%, improved customer retention by 25%, etc.
Once you have a few case studies in hand, you can repurpose them for multiple uses, including: - Web content
- Direct mail offers
- E-newsletter articles
- Application notes in a trade publication
- Sales collateral
Case studies also help with search engine optimization as hundreds of people are searching every day for specific types of case studies. Optimize your case study page and you'll begin to see increased traffic and inquiries. |
