New Website for DH Communications is Officially Live!

Being in business for yourself means that often, your own marketing takes a back seat to your client work.

Such is the case for me and my own Website. For months I had been looking at it and cringing. Here I was, advising companies how to maintain and optimize their sites — while mine looked like someone’s overworked country cousin who had been invited to a ball.

I’m happy to announce that the country cousin is now sleek and polished. Check out the new and improved  DH Communications Website. Yeah!

One thing I’m really pleased with is that I’ve included links to all the places where I network online, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and this blog. (The links are on the About Us page.) With all the places one can network online, I was beginning to feel a little fragmented. Having these links in one place helps bring together the different threads of my “personal brand.”

I owe a HUGE thank you to SonoraDesign Works. I’ve been working with Sonora since *the beginning* (Jim Somers, the owner, was my first client way back in 1998) and it’s been wonderful to see his firm grow from one person to six people.

(Sonora also designed my B2B MarCom Strategies E-book. The design has received *rave* reviews, so if you want one like it, you know whom to call.)

Jim recently hired Del Maxwell, the programmer extraordinaire, who redid my site’s design and the code. He is the one who initially suggested an upgrade, explained why I needed one and how new code would help SEO-wise, and patiently put up with all of my questions, changes, and ideas.

I’m really pleased with the result and spent Sunday afternoon dancing around my office giddy with delight. Huzzah! :-)
