100 Tools You Can't Live Without

When I first saw this list, The 100 Tools Freelancers Can’t Live Without on the Bootstrapper blog, I thought it was strictly for freelance writers.

But really, it’s for anyone who works in a solo or small office. I use a number of the tools listed, including Skype, Quickbooks, and eFax.

Three tools that I can’t live without that I don’t see listed: Google Analytics, for tracking what’s happening with my Website; TraxTime, for tracking all project work; and Carbonite, my online backup system.

And, I just discovered YouSendIt — for sending large files, such as mp3s — and iFreelance.com (rather than eLance). I just found a great transcriptionist at iFreelance because eLance wouldn’t load!

Thanks for sharing this list, Dianna. After your recommendation here I finally signed up for Google Analytics and I can’t believe I waited so long–thank you!
